MASCA

Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia

As part of my ongoing 2025/2026 term as the Creative Director of MASCA National, I oversee all creative projects from the production of short form content to creation of new creative projects that may stand to benefit Malaysian students residing in Australia. In summary, I lead, capture and distribute all in house creative projects within this role

Instagram Reels

Instagram reels is our main form of video specific social media platform to share in house produced student stories and informational updates on the newsworthy ongoings that should be of concern among Malaysian Australian international students

As part of our ongoing mission to prioritise and support the mental health of Malaysian students. We created content around what other Malaysian students do to relieve their stress. Hopefully inspiring viewers to seek out new ways to prioritise their mental health during exam season.

Content was released in phases throughout exam month as constant reminders for students to not disregard their happiness for the purpose of academic success

MALEAD 2025

MALEAD 2025 was the brainchild of the 2024 MASCA leaders where state chapter leaders were flown into Sydney for the purpose of tackling significant issues plaguing both the organisation itself and Malaysian students residing in Australia.

I had the pleasure of spearheading all creative endeavours MASCA felt it needed to explore coupled with documenting this truly incredible event.

Behind the scenes

An important part of our workflow in MASCA was to document our efforts to produce content for the purpose of improving our creative portfolio for future uses.

One of our many cornerstones of our projects was to output content that was uniquely Malaysian. What this translated to was a highly collaborative environment coupled with that uniquely casual Malaysian work ethic.

Have a look how we executed many of our projects
